NEW Technical Information Kits Available
The Technical Information Kit available to the California Almond industry has been updated! This piece of collateral is used to educate importers, purchasing managers, category managers and trade on the technical aspects of almonds, including standards and grades, forms, handling and storage guidelines and much more. Handlers also use this piece to provide baseline, technical information to their customers. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the technical kit please contact Kelly Covello.
NEW Equipment Venue at Annual Conference
If a picture is worth a thousand words, displaying equipment has to be worth a million. This year the Almond Industry Conference has added an equipment tent in the North Parking Lot. Sponsored by JackRabbit, the venue promises to be a hot spot for the presentation of manufacturing, processing, harvesting and orchard equipment from vendors such as Air-O-Fan Products, Cablevey Conveyors, Kingsburg Cultivator, San Joaquin Equipment Company, Red Barn Equipment Sales and Finance, LLC, and, of course, JackRabbit.
Kawasaki Mule Giveaway!
Following tradition, Garton Tractor will be partnering with KOCO-USA to give away a brand-new Kawasaki Mule⢠to one lucky conference attendee at the 37th Annual Almond Industry Conference. Your ticket to win will be attached to the conference tote. Get an extra ticket by attending the Growers' Breakfast. Make sure to attend the Luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 10, for the Grand Prize Drawing.

Now that harvest is winding down, it's the perfect time to update your records. Create or update a detailed diagram of adjacent land use, operations and influences, so that you are able to identify potential sources of contamination due to runoff and drift. Create, implement and document procedures to reduce the likelihood of contamination to your almonds throughout the year.
