Get on board — The California Almond
Sustainability Program is taking off.

Sustainability workshops are your opportunity to help preserve your future as an almond grower, and at the same time, contribute to the sustainability of the California Almond industry. More participation is needed to present an impressive set of data to buyers and regulators. The Almond Board of California is stepping up with additional workshop opportunities. You can do your part by attending workshops when they are offered in your area.

Two special workshops are being held in November. At these workshops, you will:

  • • Learn about the most recent tools and techniques developed through research to optimize water resources through more efficient irrigation practices.
  • • Fill out worksheets that will document your sustainable practices. (The information you provide will not be shared with anyone but you. Data from all participants is shared collectively, not individually.)
  • • Enjoy refreshments and a chance to visit with other almond growers in your region.
