The Almond Board of California (ABC) is a long-time sponsor of
IFT Wellness, an annual event organized by the Institute of Food
Technologists for professionals in research and development, regulatory compliance, marketing and nutrition.
At this year’s event in February, ABC was represented by Peggy Fyffe, associate director of Trade Stewardship. She presented a seminar entitled “Understanding the Satiety Value of Foods and
the Role They Play in Weight Management,” along with Dr. Roger Clemens, past president of IFT and a current member of ABC’s scientific advisory panel, in which almonds and their role were highlighted.
