Almond Board of California was honored at the National Agri-Marketing Association regional awards, held at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, for industry news articles placed in publications, and for ABC’s own newsletters.

Receiving awards for industry communications projects at
World Ag Expo are, from left, Linda Romander, broadhead,
Kendall Barton, Almond Board, Clifford Owen, broadhead,
Jenny Konschack, Almond Board, and Dean Broadhead.
broadhead is the Almond Board’s industry communications
agency.
ABC received first place for the West Coast Nut Grower Guide feature story "Almond growers seek to deflect regulations with sustainability initiative” (read it on page 4), and the Almond Board’s industry newsletter California Almonds Outlook.

ABC also received merits for the feature story "Sustainability program is an "ace" for California almond growers," also in West Coast Nut Grower Guide, and for The Handle e-newsletter.

Both first-place and merit entries will advance to compete at the national level for Best of NAMA awards. Winners will be announced in Kansas City in April.
