The holiday season is almost here — have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? If your answer is “no,” don’t panic. We’ll have what you’re looking for at The Almond Conference!
This year, the Almond Board of California is accepting donations to be entered in two silent auctions to be held in the exhibit hall at Conference on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 12–13. Not only will Conference attendees have the chance to bid on items like gourmet food gift baskets, a copper sculpture, a GPS system and others, but they will be helping to make college dreams come true for FFA students all over the state. All proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to the California FFA Association to go toward scholarships for agriculture students.
These FFA students could very well be part of the future of the California Almond industry. If you would like to do your part to support these kids, make sure to bring your Nice List and your wallet to The Almond Conference, December 11–13, at the Sacramento Convention Center.
If you’re interested in donating an item to the silent auction, please contact Kendall Barton by email or phone at (209) 343-3245.
