What Are Penn & Teller Up to These Days?
Penn & Teller have appeared in just about every medium — Stage shows in Las Vegas and Broadway, TV, movies, even as characters in videogames. The only venue missing is The Almond Board Gala Dinner — until now.

Yes, the duo, known for their magic and wit, are coming to Sacramento to entertain California Almond industry members at The Almond Conference Gala Dinner Thursday, Dec. 13.

Penn & Teller have performed together since the mid 1970s and are known for their numerous stage and television shows. Their current Las Vegas show mixes illusion with comedy.

Penn Jillette is a raconteur while Teller generally does not speak while performing. They specialize in gory tricks, exposing frauds and performing clever pranks. But for more than 35 years, they have defied labels — and at times physics and good taste — by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own very distinct niche in comedy.

With sold-out runs on Broadway, world tours, Emmy-winning TV specials and hundreds of outrageous appearances on everything from Letterman to Leno, Friends to The Simpsons, Chelsea Lately to Top Chef, comedy’s only team show no signs of slowing down.

The duo’s newest television venture, Penn & Teller Tell a Lie, for the Discovery Channel, premiered last October and Penn showed his business savvy this spring on NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.

Come to The Almond Conference Gala Dinner to see what these two delightful entertainers have in store for California Almond growers, handlers, and all those good folks allied with the industry. Go to The Almond Conference website to make reservations. Please note that you must preregister to attend the Conference in order to purchase Gala Dinner tickets.
