Who says money doesn’t grow on trees?
The Almond Board of California (ABC) has worked with several industry members and UC Davis researchers to develop key information that delves into the economics and financial returns of growing California Almonds. Join us for an Economics Roadshow webinar on Tuesday, July 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to discuss how to do a better job of accounting for the cost of components of your growing operations, and to learn about tools that can be used to calculate your own return on assets (ROA).
This webinar will provide an overview of grower economic modeling by Dr. Karen Klonsky, Agricultural Extension, UC Davis, followed by an analysis of current and historical industry financial returns presented by industry member Bill Harp. This type of information is vital to the economic success of every grower’s operation, and will contribute to a better understanding of how to assess returns for the costs and assets employed by growers.
Learn more about the economics of farming California Almonds, projections of the demand for almonds, and how to assess the factors that affect the profitability of your growing and processing operations. You are invited to participate in this educational event as a member of the California Almond growing and processing community.
