After more than 20 years of service on the Production Research Committee of the Almond Board of California, Floyd Perry will be retiring. At the May 2 Production Research Committee meeting, Perry was acknowledged for the invaluable contributions, good sense and experience he brought to the committee, and was thanked for his years as a research cooperator at Lassen Land, where he was general manager until his retirement. In his comments, Perry said the Production Research Committee has contributed significantly to the vitality of the almond industry.
