Sustainability Workshops Springing Up in May
Spring is in full swing and so is the California Almond Sustainability Program! Workshops are being held May 9 in Modesto, May 10 in Oakdale and May 21 in Fresno. Sustainability workshops are an opportunity for you to document your sustainable farming practices. There are plenty of good reasons to participate in the Sustainability Program. Consumers want proof that they’re buying sustainably grown products, regulators need well-documented records of efficient farming practices, and you may want to know how your operation compares to others in your area. If you would like to learn more about the importance of the Almond Sustainability Program and how it works, please visit AlmondBoard.com/Growers/Sustainability. For information on upcoming workshops, email Kendall Barton or call her at (209) 343-3245.
