The Global Food Safety Initiative and aspects of the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) will be addressed at the Almond Board’s Almond Quality and Food Safety Symposium, to be held at the Visalia Convention Center on Aug. 1.
For handlers, new standards for product traceability under FSMA and “surviving the regulatory audit” will be discussed. Growers will learn about “GAPs and Food Safety Modernization — What You Need to Know About Documentation.”
