USDA Grades and Standards Provide a Benchmark for Quality

USDA grades for natural almonds are voluntary minimum standards. They are based on measurable attributes that describe the value and utility of almonds. The almond industry can supply almonds to customers’ unique specifications, both in terms of sizes and grades, based on the intended applications, and can be used to help promote the quality and wholesomeness of California Almonds to consumers.
