Farm workers, the public and the environment are protected by laws and regulations

California Almond growers, like any other producers, must adhere to numerous laws and regulations that were written to protect our workers, the air, our water and the food supply. The Almond Board of California’s Environmental Committee stays on top of environmental issues, keeping growers informed as initiatives become rules. The ABC also conducts research into ways that growers can use production practices that are based on sound, scientific research, common sense, and a respect for the environment.
