Tee Up A Better Golf Game with a Handful of Almonds

Prime golf season is upon us! Whether you play professionally or consider yourself a weekend warrior, feeling hungry on the green can weaken performance. Having nutritious snacks on hand is a simple way to stay fueled and focused, but it’s often challenging to find a snack that tastes great and can be easily tucked away in a sports bag.

Because of their delicious crunch and portability, a handful of almonds can be a golfer’s best friend both on and off the course. Cholesterol-free and rich in vitamin E, a single serving of almonds, which is about 23, provides 13 grams of unsaturated fat, only one gram of saturated fat, six grams of protein and three-and-a-half grams of fiber.
